The Catcher in the Rye - J.D. Salinger Holden Caulfield the original hipster. of course he is. Just Google it. It all over the place.
He hates “phonies.” He has deep conversation that play out in his head and transfer well to the written words.
When Catcher in the Rye was written this was groundbreaking and unique. Hell even teenagers were still new. Today it is every conversation you hear at a coffee shop or see in the latest indie movie. And I found it funny, easy,and well I guess you could say it just kills me.
