The Book Thief - Markus Zusak This Book. It comes loaded with with a world pressure that you will enjoy this read. That a lot of pressure, What if I don't like it, will you still like me? So read it I did. And loved it I did. But it still a lot of pressure.
This story told by death. Not the kind that is shown in most horror movies that is out to get you. But a Death that seem in some way to resemble [a:Neil Gaiman|1221698|Neil Gaiman|http://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1234150163p2/1221698.jpg]Version of Death. A Death that has a personalty and to quote "I am haunted by humans." The story Death tell is of a girl named Liesel, the main character. She is 10 year girl in Nazi Germany. The story is well paced, tragic, unsettling to the point I was crying and I feel I will be haunted by the character for many years. But also it was life- affirming, funny, absorbing, captivating, exciting. (I could keep adding adjectives.) The best part is it is a story about the love of words and books.
